Claire Shannon works in the County Clerk’s office in Allen Creek, a small town in Central Texas. It’s late May and the weather is finally warming up along with Claire’s flirtation with the new detective in town. She never dreamed that their first date would be an interrogation in his office at the Sheriff’s Dept.
